I bought this to help me put birdseed feeder on outside post. Works like a charm. Now I’m finding other uses for it as well.I have read some very negative reviews about the "Long Reach Closet Pole". I suspect the differences noted in the reviews are a consequence of the different poles that are listed for sale. I have purchased the pole with a gold colored handle that extends to 63". I believe it is made of slightly better and heavier material than some of the other poles. I find this pole to be durable and sturdy. I feel that it is a great value for the price. It certainly works great for the purpose for which we purchased it, to place out of season clothes on the upper racks in the closet. Just be sure to note the color of the handle of the pole you are considering buying and know that in my opinion the gold handle pole is well worth the price.Purchased a new home with a very high, multi level hanging system. This reaches those places with ease and allows us to hang the seasonal/seldom worn articles high an out of the way.Depends on what you need it for, but I found better for me and less expensive here on Amazon.Liked that this item is lightweight and can telescope to a variety of lengths. The curved head is plastic and so a part of one tip broke when it fell out of my hand while using.It could be improved with a curved hook on one side to allow it to be hung over the closet RodThe poke extends quite long which is nice for our super high extra storage in our master closet. The double hook creature was difficult for me to maneuver at first. I like that the pole collapsed to a smaller size for storage but a hook/chain to hang it up during storage would have been nice. It sits in the corner of my closet and tends to get knocked over.Did not feel as sturdy as I had expected. I did not measure the “reach” by paying attention to the measurements so it was a bit shorter than I expected. Still I have used it several times to hang up and retrieve things on nails in basement.I bought this for my wife who has high ceilings in her closet. We have an extra bar up high where she now stores her winter clothes. She couldn't reach anything up there before, but this "reach pole" lets her put up and take down her clothing easily. The pole is NOT flimsy, but quite sturdy and easily managed. The dual hook grasps the hangars well making is a "smooth hang" (no fumbling around to get the hangar placed on the higher rack). It also has a third hook for storing it on the rack below.As expected.
