I was looking for brass step lights for my backyard steps, There are so many lights to choose from, these lights catch my eye because they claim they are only 0.4 inches tall and made out of a solid brass shell. I was NOT disappointed, the lights arrive and I immediately felt the quality in my hand (cold brass metal) and you know these lights will last a long time. I needed the best durable lights as the steps are next to our pool which has salt water and many other lights failed in the past.One of the step caps was cemented by mistake by our contractor before I was able to install the light, and we couldn't install the light under the cap, but then I found that there are another 2 extra plates and we use one of them to install the light on the front surface and it works great.These lights are very strong, they claim 200 lumens, it looks a little stronger to me but it's perfect for us, I highly recommend these lightsVery happy with these lights, I have the 7" version. Installed on a retaining wall that wraps around the house. Settled on these due to the lumens. A lot of the other lights are significantly brighter. I wanted a duller accent light that stayed an accent light and didn't light up my yard like the sun. These did just that. Easy to install, but you do need a grinder to cut a trench in the block for the wire. If your building a retaining wall you should probably already have a grinder. I took it one step further and traced the base plate on the top block and ground down the area the baseplate of the light would be a few millimeters at each light placement. It is still tight with the cap on, but I can work them out if a light would ever go bad and need to be replaced. Will save you from having to pop off (if your lucky, probably break and replace) and re-glue the cap back on. So far so good, they look great.They look great at nightI designed my patio, retaining walls and stairs. 18 tons of dirt was removed by my family and I to complete the project. I chose Lumency LEDS light due to the fact you could change them in the event of a malfunction and buy replacements!!! I chose the lights for my retaining wall and stairs, the look Great and are bright enough to bring out the natural stone detail i choose for the stairs and retaining wall. All this said, I misplaced 5 shields for the LED lights. I contacted Lumengy through e-mail and made contact with, CINDY L. Not only did she solve my problem, she was extremely helpful . I would recommend this product to anyone without hesitation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great JobBought 7 of them - all worked. Very bright for 1.5W. My contractor threw away the case and used just the LED fixture and epoxied it to the bottom of each step - you can’t see it all when off.Great product! Was the perfect solution to add under the top cap of the wall for some face lighting!Easy to install and gives off just the right amount of light.Great value
