So pretty putting these up in a window under a sheer curtain. Love the different settings on the remote. Works great. My only issue was that the battery pack was in a awkward spot so it was hard to find a place to put itI bought these lights to go on my bubbly bar. They’re ok. The lights give the perfect glow when I can get it to the setting that I want. The remote quit working after a couple of uses. Fortunately I’m able to change the light settings by pressing a little button on the battery box. If this button quits working, then the lights will be pretty much useless. Hopefully the button will last longer than the remote!I rated it a 4 just because the first time I ordered it, it took me 2 hours just to untangle and in the end when I went to go put in the batteries to turn it on, it wasn’t working. Amazon went ahead and sent me a second one and it took me 20 mins to set up and actually worked. Definitely love how it comes with a little remote so I can turn it on and off instead of actually going by the curtains to do so. Also, love how i can change the speed of the lights (still, flashing, etc.). Recommend.I used it to redecorate my ugly patio. Now it looks so nice and cozy thanks to this light and curtain. I got hooks to hang these curtain lights and it was very easy to set up once you have hooks to hang. I turn these on in the am before the sun comes up and at night. The lights are a soft, warm white. Many different settings. It is NOT battery operated. You plug it in. I recommend this kind. The battery-powered ones eat batteries like they are going out of style. Battery operated (It'd be a good idea to invest in some rechargeable batteries and a charger) If you have them on all the time 24/7, on the highest setting, then they last about 5 days to a week roughly. They can reach across about 10 feet and are about 7 feet longish. I like them. Plenty of different settings to switch things up if I'm feeling saucy.These lights were beautiful. I used them at my wedding for the backdrop for head table. It gave a very romantic feel. . I waited until the very last minute to order these and contacted the seller to ensure it was shipped ASAP. The lights came way faster than expected.They came without a hitch and they all worked. The lights also have settings to have twinkling and flashing among others.
